Ana Teixeira Studio strengthens its commitment to upcycling

"According to Ana Teixeira, between 90% and 95% of the materials are reused. The remainder mainly consists of technical components, such as interlinings, eyelets, snap fasteners and zips, although these elements are also reused whenever possible. «Each garment results from an individually conceived process of deconstruction and reconstruction, always seeking to ensure quality, functionality and durability. The aim is never to conceal the origin of the materials, but to give them a new identity and value through design», explains the designer. In addition to its collections, the brand also develops bespoke garments using clothing supplied by customers themselves."
